From Federal Police Viper to Weatherill International

Before becoming Weatherill International, our organization operated for decades as the Federal Police Viper (also known as Federal Police Viper International / FPVI).

• Founded: Estimated c. 1930s (20th Century)

• Core Mission: High-level tactical defense, law enforcement assistance, and elite security operations.

• Leadership: Guided by 44 distinguished Directors throughout its operational lifespan.

Originally established in the early 20th century as a specialized private military force, the Federal Police Viper built an unmatched reputation for protecting critical assets, gathering vital surveillance, and deploying top-tier strategic forces.

The Transition: A New Era

In 2018, Director D. Weatherill—the 44th and final Director of FPVI—purchased the Federal Police Viper organization. Recognizing the evolving global security landscape, Director Weatherill rebranded the force as Weatherill International, modernizing its assets while preserving its fundamental commitment to public and client safety.

Under this final chapter, Weatherill International continued to deploy the finest service members in the industry, delivering comprehensive protection and surveillance until our proud retirement in 2020.
